In honor of Native
American Heritage Month, Texas’ own
Ruben V will be the last performer
featured in the Texas Music Coffeehouse
Series on November 1st at 7 p.m.
at the Corner Pocket in the
Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the
Schreiner University campus.
Winner of several best guitarist, best
songwriter, and best blues band awards,
he has played with fellow music legends
Gatemouth Brown, George Thorgood, Joe
Ely, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds.
Ruben has also been attributed in Action
Magazine as being, “Born with a powerful
and soulful voice, and the guitar
strokes which are owned only by a chosen
few.”

Sylvia Kirk,
another San Antonio artist, who has been
called “the best kept secret in Texas
music, will accompany him.” Together
they will rock the stage at 8p.m. after
the open mike at 7p.m.
This event is free
