David Teneyuca, Schreiner
University assistant professor of information
systems, is offering a leadership conference for
educators on the Schreiner campus Saturday,
November 4. The cost for the all-day
conference is $99, which includes
breakfast and lunch.
The conference is directed at giving educators
the tools, strategies and techniques to enable
them to personalize the educational vision of
their school and district and adapt it to the
needs of their individual classrooms. Those
attending the conference are eligible for six
Continuing Professional Education credits.
In addition to teaching at Schreiner, Teneyuca
is a principal in the San Antonio consulting
firm DXT. He has been working with schools and
school districts in San Antonio and the Hill
Country for four years to help educators achieve
their vision; especially those struggling to
help their students achieve success despite the
challenges of poverty, difficult home lives,
limited school resources and conflicting
cultural issues.
