Texas Music Coffeehouse Series for Spring 2007
 
KERRVILLE, Texas -- Texas Heritage Music Foundation and Schreiner University’s Center for Innovative Learning announce the spring 2007 schedule for the Texas Music Coffeehouse series. Performances will take place in the Corner Pocket at the Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the Schreiner University campus. Open mike is at 7 p.m., followed by the scheduled performers at 8 p.m.

Greg Griffith Blues Band

In honor of Black History Month, the Greg Griffith Blues Band, along with local hip hop and rap artists, will be featured at the first spring Texas Music Coffeehouse on February 7.

 

 

 

 

Carolyn WonderlandTo celebrate Women’s History Month on March 7, Schreiner will be treated to a return engagement by Carolyn Wonderland, a multi-award-winning musician/singer/songwriter based in Austin. Also performing will be the Sol Patch trio, featuring Melissa Weatherly.

Thom World Poet

April is International Poetry Month and April 4’s Coffeehouse will feature a slam poetry contest and a performance by Thom World Poet, an improvising poet who tours with bands and is based in Austin. He is a co-founder of Austin International Poetry Festival.

 

 

  
All Texas Music Coffeehouse events are open to the public and free of charge.
