Schreiner choir to wait tables at steakhouse

The Schreiner University Choir will be waiting tables at JO Ranch Steakhouse from 5-9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20, to help raise money for the choir’s trip to Carnegie Hall in New York City. All tips from that night will go to the choir’s travel fund.

“Every student who will wait tables will be going to Carnegie Hall,” Michael Kahl, the choir’s director, said, “so instead of ‘singing for our supper,’ we will be serving your supper to help us sing.”

The steakhouse is located at 3044 Junction Hwy., just after Goat Creek Road going from Kerrville to Ingram.

For more information, e-mail Michael Kahl at mgkahl@schreiner.edu.
