Schreiner University to host art show

Well-known local artist Judi Burton will have an exhibition of her work at Sept. 9-Oct. 12 in the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the Schreiner University campus. There will be an opening reception from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 9.

Burton works in oils, focusing in figurative realism. Her paintings of the Hill Country show a love of color and strong, dynamic composition.

There will be other art exhibits at Schreiner throughout the academic year. The next will be an exhibit of works by The Guadalupe Watercolor Group.

For more information, call David Smith at 792-7398.
