The
Campus Ministry of
Schreiner University will host Caesar Ricci, who
will present “Darfur: A Firsthand Account in Words
and Photographs,” at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday,
November 28, in the Ballroom of the Floyd &
Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the
Schreiner campus. The event is free and
open to the public.
Ricci, a medical student from San Antonio, will talk
about his travels to central Africa and the ongoing
genocide in Darfur, along with practical and
effective ways to help the people of Darfur and
eastern Chad in their struggle to survive ethnic
cleansing. To raise money for an upcoming trip to
the region, he also will be selling his photographs
from to Darfur and Chad. The photos will be on
exhibit at Schreiner until December 10.
