Schreiner Chautauqua Lecture to address
dieting and drinking |
|
Schreiner University will
present “Dieting and the Effects of Alcohol” by Dr. Tom Wells as part of the
Robert P. Hallman
Chautauqua Lecture Series at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 29 in the
Cailloux Campus Activity Center theater.
Dr. Wells is a professor of
exercise science and interdisciplinary
studies, and his talk will be based on a chapter from a book he is currently
writing.
“Alcohol consumption that has become a routine part of the life of any adult
will significantly affect weight gain and body composition,” Wells said. |
