Schreiner Chautauqua Lecture to address dieting and drinking

Schreiner University will present “Dieting and the Effects of Alcohol” by Dr. Tom Wells as part of the Robert P. Hallman Chautauqua Lecture Series at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 29 in the Cailloux Campus Activity Center theater.

Dr. Wells is a professor of exercise science and interdisciplinary studies, and his talk will be based on a chapter from a book he is currently writing.

“Alcohol consumption that has become a routine part of the life of any adult will significantly affect weight gain and body composition,” Wells said.
