Free ‘Past Is Prologue’ workshop
at
Schreiner Oct. 19-20
Schreiner University’s Center for
Innovative Learning will co-sponsor the 13th Annual Past is Prologue
workshop with PIP: A Learning Way. This year’s topic is “The Power of
Native American Stories: In Education, In Community, In Life.” The workshop
will be Friday and Saturday, October 19 and 20, in the ballroom of the Floyd
& Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the Schreiner Campus.
The Friday session, an evening of stories with Mobi Warren, will be at 7:30
p.m. The Saturday workshop will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
There will be no registration fee for this year’s PIP workshop and teachers,
students and organizations are encouraged to take advantage of this free
training. Continuing Professional Education credit is available through the
workshop. Those wishing to attend should RSVP to Dr. Kathleen Hudson at
khudson@schreiner.edu.
