“Westward Ho” presents the origin and history of cowboy and western
music through the character of an old-time cowboy, brought to life
by Duke Davis. Beginning with original songs written in the
post-Civil War era, progressing through the turn of the 20th century
and into modern-day western music, Davis and his band Buckshot take
the audience on an entertaining tour of a cowboy’s life through
songs, recitations and anecdotes.
