Schreiner Chautauqua Series to discuss Hubble Telescope       

Floating Hubble TelescopeSchreiner University will present the first Robert P. Hallman Chautauqua Lecture Series of 2008 at 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 25 in the theater of the Cailloux Campus Activity Center.

Dr. William Sliva, professor of mathematics, will speak on the topic “A Layman’s Look at the Hubble Telescope.” Sliva started and continues to conduct Schreiner’s popular stargazing events, Star Party, that are held on campus and at Riverside Nature Center in Kerrville.
