Schreiner choir fall concert will be ‘Music of the Americas’
All three Schreiner University choirs will come together under the direction of Michael Kahl, assistant professor of music, to present “Music of the Americas,” with music from Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Cuba and the U.S. The concert will be at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, in the Dietert Auditorium on the Schreiner campus.
Members of the Schreiner University Choir performed at the recent Texas Heritage Living History Day on the Schreiner campus. Choir director Michael Kahl is kneeling at the front.
Terri Henneke-Theis and Kenda Delaney will be the pianists for the event, which also will feature a Schreiner faculty/staff choir, a wind quintet and a guest jazz band.
