The Schreiner University
Presidential Elections 2008 honors
class will offer panel discussions
on three topics of interest for this
election year 5:30-6:30 p.m.,
Wednesday, April 30. The
discussions are open to the public
and light refreshments will be
served.
Immigration will be discussed in
Ballroom 2 on the second floor of
the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus
Activity Center, Global Warming in
the CCAC Theatre on the first floor
and Tax Cuts for the Middle Class in
CCAC Ballroom 3. The three panels
will run concurrently.
Honors students Elsa Cepeda,
Stephanie Crane and Jeremiah Parsons
will make up the panel for
immigration; Joanna Ohlhausen,
Dianna Roberts and Katie Beth Lane
will discuss global warming; and
Matt Jepson, Mary Lou Yruegas and
Anna Oran will take on tax cuts for
the middle class. The panelists will
take questions and comments from the
audience after their presentations.
