Schreiner University and the
trustees of the
Hatton W. Sumners Foundation
have announced four Sumners
scholars. Kathryn Calhoun of
Kerrville, Steven Griffith of
Schertz, Dolores Kimball of
Kerrville and Celise Rice of
Boerne will receive a $7,000
scholarship, as well as unique
learning opportunities for their
junior and senior years at
Schreiner.
Sumner Scholars are chosen on
the basis of the strength of
their applications, resumes, an
essay and an interview with the
foundation’s trustees.
