KERRVILLE, Texas — Graduates of Schreiner University’s vocational nursing program received their diplomas at a campus ceremony held on August 8, 2008, before an audience of friends, family and members of the University’s academic faculty. Flores of Comfort, daughter of Jesus Garay and Martha Guerrero; Achsah Holekamp of Kerrville, daughter of Teddy Holekamp and Gail Stanford; Ashley Imholte of Pipe Creek, daughter of Daniel and Brenda Imholte; Catherine W. Palm of Hunt, vice-president of the nursing class, and daughter of Chester and Sharon Richter; Sharon Marie Pintsch of Kerrville, president of the nursing class; Christin M. Tina Durden was recognized for excellence in academic achievement. Andre Botha and Catherine Kern were recognized for outstanding clinical performance. Lauren Perez was the recipient of the appreciation award.  The speaker for the commencement was Dr. Anand Mehendale.
