Cancer researcher Johanning to speak at Schreiner

Dr. Gary L. Johanning, a researcher and professor at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas, will speak at Schreiner University 4 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11, in the Floyd and Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center Theater on the University campus. The talk is sponsored by Schreiner’s Honors Program. It is free and open to the public.

Johanning, whose research interests are vitamins and resistance to chemotherapy, will speak on “Biological Factors Affecting Drug Resistance.” His remarks will be suitable for a general as well as medical audience.
