The
Schreiner University Choir will host a dinner theater on Friday and
Saturday, March 7 and 8 in the fellowship hall of the First United
Methodist Church in Kerrville. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m., and the
choir program at 6:30 p.m.
The musical program will include Renaissance madrigals, a George Gershwin
medley and Motown.
“It will be a fun and entertaining evening as the choir sings and dances to
different styles of music,” choral director Michael Kahl said. “Special
guest artists will include the Oak Leaf String Quartet and members from the
Schreiner Pep Band.”
The event will be $25 for the public; $10 for Schreiner students and
children younger than 12 years old.
All proceeds will go to the Schreiner University Choir to offset the costs
of the choir’s trip to New York to perform at Carnegie Hall.
