Schreiner
University will host a “Day
of Community” volunteer fair
from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
on Wednesday, Sept. 17
in the ballroom of the Floyd
and Kathleen Cailloux Campus
Activity Center on the
Schreiner campus.
Schreiner’s Community
Volunteer Program and
Student Service Council will
sponsor the event.
According to
Elizabeth Loggie,
Schreiner’s volunteer
coordinator, the fair brings
together area nonprofit
organizations and community
members, as well as
Schreiner students, faculty
and staff.
“It helps to share the needs
of each nonprofit,” Loggie
said, “and is an opportunity
for nonprofits to network
among themselves and the
community at large.”
“We welcome any nonprofit,”
she added. “We look forward
to learning more about every
one.” |
