If you are
planning to audit one of the
16 Schreiner University
courses that are open for
Hill Country residents 55
years old and older, you
have less than month to
register. The last day for
registering to audit is
Friday, Aug. 1.
The classes available for
the 2008 fall term are
Introduction to Clay (art),
Scientific Terminology
(biology), Introduction to
Journalism, World
Literature, Mythology,
Introduction to Sport
Management, French, History
of Mexico, Modern Asia,
Texas Music, Introduction to
International Relations,
Judicial Process, Middle
East, Environmental
Psychology, Health
Psychology and Christian
Theology.
There is a $25 registration
fee per semester and a fee
of $25 per semester hour.
For most courses, this will
be $75. Classes are open
first to regularly enrolled
Schreiner students, then to
auditors on a
space-available basis. Class
size is restricted to
maintain Schreiner’s 13:1
student-teacher ratio.
Auditors will receive a
certificate of completion
from the instructor.
