“Learn as if
you were going to live
forever,” said Mahatma
Ghandi, a principle that
Schreiner University
strongly embraces. The
school will offer 16 courses
in the 2008 fall term that
are open for Hill Country
residents 55 years old and
older to audit.
There is a $25 registration
fee per semester and a fee
of $25 per semester hour.
For most courses, this will
be $75. Classes are open
first to regularly enrolled
Schreiner students, then to
auditors on a
space-available basis. Class
size is restricted to
maintain Schreiner’s 13:1
student-teacher ratio.
Auditors will receive a
certificate of completion
from the instructor.

Introduction to Clay (art),
Scientific Terminology
(biology), Introduction to
Journalism, World
Literature, Mythology,
Introduction to Sport
Management, French, History
of Mexico, Modern Asia,
Texas Music, Introduction to
International Relations,
Judicial Process, Middle
East, Environmental
Psychology, Health
Psychology and Christian
Theology.
