Alpha Chi inducts exceptional students at Schreiner

 

The Texas Sigma chapter of the Alpha Chi national honor society recently inducted 18 Schreiner University students as new members. Alpha Chi is an honor society for students in the upper tenth of their class in their junior and senior years, based on academic achievement and character.

Eighteen Schreiner University juniors and seniors recently were inducted into the Texas Sigma chapter of the Alpha Chi national honor society. In the front, left to right are Jonathan Smith, from Kerrville; Patsy Toman, Hockley, TX; Ashley Eubanks, Boerne; Celise Rice, Boerne; Carolina Rivas, San Antonio; Matthew Jepson, San Antonio; Ashley Vano, Brownsville. In the back row, left to right, are Jesse Ugarte, Kerrville; Rae Kinkead, Central City, Iowa; Marcella Saxton, El Paso; Dianna Roberts, Kerrville; Amanda White, San Antonio; Dolores Kimbal, Kerrville; Kathryn Calhoun, Kerrville; and Brandon Thompson, Kerrville. The new inductees were Jonathan Smith, Dianna Roberts, Kathryn Calhoun, Brandon Thompson, Jesse Ugarte and Dolores Kimbal, all from Kerrville; Patsy Toman, Hockley, TX; Ashley Eubanks, and Celise Rice, from Boerne; Carolina Rivas, Amanda White and Matthew Jepson, San Antonio; Ashley Vano, Brownsville; Rae Kinkead, Central City, Iowa; Marcella Saxton, El Paso; Leigh Brown, Seguin; and Nancy Monyenye, Arlinton, TX.

Alpha Chi was founded in 1922 by five Texas colleges and now has more than 250 regional chapters nationwide.
