Schreiner University will
host a Wellness Fair
Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 10
a.m. to 1 p.m. The fair
will be located on the
University campus in the
ballroom of the Floyd &
Kathleen Cailloux Campus
Activity Center. Students,
Schreiner employees and the
community are invited to
participate.
The day’s events will
include many services and
demonstrations intended to
help participants
effectively manage their
personal wellness
challenges. Some of the
scheduled activities include
chair massages and health
screenings. There will be
information booths on
various health topics,
including diabetes,
acupuncture, smoking
cessation and much more. The
day will also include
demonstrations of yoga, tai
chi and hypnosis, as well as
lectures on nutrition and
other wellness topics. Flu
shots will be available for
$25 to the public.
