Schreiner choir, music students to perform
The Schreiner University Choir will perform Vivaldi’s “Gloria” in collaboration with the church choir from First Presbyterian Church in Kerrville at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6, at the church, which is located at 800 Jefferson St. The choirs will be accompanied by an orchestra and harpsichord. The University Choir and other groups also will sing a selection of holiday music, both sacred and secular. Students from the Schreiner music department will present a recital at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, in the Dietert Auditorium on the Schreiner campus. The program will include a variety of composers, musical genres and instruments.
