Schreiner’s newest residence officially opens Aug. 20

Faulkner Residence HallFaulkner Residence Hall, Schreiner University’s new freshman residence, will officially open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 20, just in time for the start of the new academic year on Aug. 26. The $8.1 million facility, designed by B & A Architects of San Antonio, is a joint venture between Donna and Royce Faulkner and Schreiner.
  
    
The three-story building has 84 double-occupancy rooms, arranged in suites of two rooms and a bath, with living and study rooms on each floor. It is located just inside the entrance to the University and across from the back of the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center.
