Schreiner math honor society to induct seven

The Schreiner chapter of Kappa Mu Epsilon, a national mathematics honor society, will induct seven new members at a special ceremony at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 2, in the Scarle-Philips room in the William Logan Library on the Schreiner campus.

The students who will be recognized for academic distinction, high scholastic standards and professional merit are Denise Begley, Matt Jepson and Matt Moreno, from San Antonio; Rebecca Burnham, Sugar Land; James Heikkenen, Seguin; Will Rhodes, Kerrville; and Steven Spiegelhoff, Ingleside, TX.

KME, founded in 1931, has 137 active chapters at colleges and universities that offer a strong mathematics major.
