SA attorney to speak at Schreiner
The Schreiner University chapters of Alpha Sigma Alpha and Delta Phi Epsilon sororities will sponsor a talk by San Antonio attorney Priscilla Camacho at 7 p.m., Monday, March 30, in the ballroom of the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center. Camacho will speak on “From Glass Slippers to Glass Ceilings: Women in the Workplace,” in honor of Women’s History Month.
Camacho graduated Cum Laude in 2001 from St. Mary’s University with a B.A. in English & Communication Arts and is a 2005 graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law. Her law practice focuses on matters of family law, such as divorce and custody disputes, and marital property agreements. She will discuss the challenges of being a Hispanic female in a male-dominated field and how her leadership experiences in college have helped her to cope with the challenges and obstacles women experience in the workplace.
