 Join the Schreiner choir on trip to Europe

The Schreiner University Choir’s May 15-25, 2010 trip to southern Germany and Austria has openings for area citizens to participate. The trip will include Munich, Oberammergau and Berchtesgarten in Germany and Vienna and Salzburg in Austria. The choir will be performing in various venues along the way.

The cost of the trip for nonstudents is $3,500, which includes round-trip airfare, 11 days and 9 nights in superior tourist class accommodations, breakfasts and dinners, transportation and entrance fees to the Schoenbrunn Palace, a salt mine near Berchtesgaden, Melk Abbey, Neuschwanstein Castle, Linderhof Castle, a toboggan run and guided tours of Vienna and Salzburg. A $400 deposit is required as soon as possible to reserve a place on the tour.

The choir will perform in several venues, including a performance and private workshop with the Vienna Boys Choir.

Payments by check made out to Schreiner University and designated “Spring Choir Trip” may be brought to the Schreiner business office, located in the Tom Murray building on the University campus, or to Martha York, whose office is in Dickey Hall, Room 105.
