Three female members of the
Schreiner Shooting Sports Society at Schreiner University are coming home with medals from the USA
National Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo. In Women’s Trap,
Caitlin Barney Weinheimer, Schreiner class of 2013 from Ingram. was High
Collegiate and came in second in Open Class A; Tori Burch ’13, from
Mountain Home, took first place in Open Class C; and Kelsey Zauhar ’12,
from Bandera, was third in Open Class B.
“This event was against the best in the U.S.,” Coach Bill Thomas said.
“We should be proud of this achievement.”
