More than 25 members of the
Schreiner University Choir will perform in the Austin area the weekend
of March 13-15, including singing at three Presbyterian churches.
Schreiner’s choir has previously performed at Carnegie Hall and at the
Vatican.
The choir, along with director Michael Kahl, will arrive Friday, March 13 to
perform for music classes at Dripping Springs High School. That evening they
will present a concert for their host families at Westminster Presbyterian
Church in Austin. On Saturday, they will sing for Westminster Manor
Retirement Home and Dell’s Children’s Hospital.
The following performances are open to the public without charge:
• Saturday, March 14 at 7 p.m. at Westlake Hills
Presbyterian Church at 7127 Bee Caves Rd., in Austin
• Sunday, March 15 at 3 p.m. at Canyon Lake Presbyterian Church,
230 Shepherd Hill Dr., in Canyon Lake
The Schreiner choir also will participate in both the 8:15
and 11 a.m. Sunday services at Westminster Presbyterian on March 15.
