Schreiner University freshman Caitlin Barney of Ingram,
TX, won the silver medal in the Combined San Antonio Gun Club, Hill
Country Shooting Sports International Bunker Trap Match conducted over
the past weekend. Barney had a combined total of 129 out of 150 targets
shot over two days at two different clubs.
“This is a great achievement,” Coach Bill Thomas said. “Caitlin was
competing against some of the top male and female sport shooters in
Texas under difficult weather conditions, and held her own.”
