Schreiner Announces Hill Country Art Survey Winners
Schreiner University has announced the winners of the 10th annual Hill Country Arts Survey competition for area high school students. All first-place winners received $100, with second- and third-place winners received $50 and $25, respectively. There was a $500 prize for Best in Show.

Krishtian W. Gonzalez, from Clark High School in San Antonio, won Best in Show. In the Traditional Photography category, Vanessa Dunn from Boerne High School took first place; Derek Murdok and Sarah Torzewski, both from Boerne-Samuel V. Champion High School, took second and third place. All three top awards in Manipulation Digital went to students from Boerne-Samuel V. Champion High School: Kathryn Klokker, first place; Kyah Gallagher, second; and Josh Hernandez, third. In Traditional 2-D Media, first place went to Keller Fornes, Tivy High school; second to Rebecca Bartin, from Boerne High School; and third to Kason Fornes, Tivy.
