KERRVILLE – Teachers who are interested in
upgrading their credentials by earning a Master’s degree in a supportive
atmosphere are invited to learn about Schreiner University’s new online
hybrid program at an open house 4:30–5:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11, in
the Floyd and Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center’s River Room.
Schreiner University offers a Master of Education degree and a Master of
Education in Teaching degree, as well as Principal Certification, in a
new format that combines the convenience of online instruction with the
support of one-Saturday-per-month classes on the Kerrville campus. Both
Master’s programs can be completed in a year. Principal Certification is
a two-semester program. A cohort group approach ensures plenty of
support from both faculty and fellow students.
Representatives of Schreiner’s graduate education program and the Office
of Admission and Financial Aid will be available at the open house to
answer questions and provide informational materials.
Additional open house events for the Graduate Program are scheduled for
4:30–5:30, Tuesday, April 13, and Thursday, June 3.
