Monday Night Fiction to feature  “Digging to America” March 8Schreiner University’s Monday Night Fiction series will discuss “Digging to America” by Anne Tyler at 7 p.m., Monday, March 8, in the Scarle-Philips Room in the William Logan Library on the Schreiner campus. Sally Hannay, assistant professor of English at Schreiner, will lead the discussion.

“Digging to America” is Pulitzer-Prize winning novelist Anne Tyler’s 17th novel, published in 2006. The story examines the lives and different parenting styles of two families—one American and the other Iranian-American—who adopt six-month-old Korean orphan girls.
