Schreiner student named to JAMP for third year in a row
For the third straight year, a Schreiner University student has been accepted into the Joint Admission Medical Program, by which promising students receive guaranteed acceptance into a Texas medical school assuming they continue to meet the program requirements. This year’s JAMP student is Amber Campillo, a junior from Harlingen, Texas.

“Amber joins juniors Lindsey Rhoden and Ayesha Safo (who are busily studying for the MCAT), and senior Matt Jepson who just received his acceptance to the University of North Texas Health Science Center/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine where he will begin study in the fall,” said Dr. Diana Comuzzie, professor of biology and dean of the Trull School of Sciences & Mathematics at Schreiner. “Our students continue to do well in their admission to medical schools and that is due to their hard work and the outstanding efforts of our faculty and staff on their behalf.”
