International English honor society inducts seven at Schreiner
 
The Schreiner University Alpha Gamma Xi chapter of Sigma Tau Delta inducted six new members Tuesday, March 2. The new student members of the international English honor society are Katie Stout, a sophomore from Austin, and Jennifer Weber, a senior from Leander, Texas. Also inducted were Dr. Charlie McCormick, Schreiner’s provost and vice president for academic affairs; Dr. Christopher Cole Starr, associate professor of religion and philosophy; Dr. Kirsten Komara, assistant professor of English; and Silke Feltz, instructor in English and German.

Sigma Tau Delta was founded in 1924 and as part of its mission “strives to confer distinction for high achievement in English language and literature in undergraduate, graduate and professional studies.” The Schreiner chapter has been active since 1993.
