Chautauqua series to present ‘Better Living through Chemistry’

Schreiner University’s Robert P. Hallman Chautauqua Lecture Series will present “Better Living through Chemistry” on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. in the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center Theater.  Dr. Bob Holloway, professor of chemistry, will speak.

“Science has always been an important feature of life in Texas,” Holloway said. “Chemistry has always been an especially important, perhaps because petroleum provides the raw material for so many things chemical. And among the Nobel Prizes won by native Texans are two in chemistry.”
