Schreiner sports shooter chases Olympic dream
ShootingSchreiner University junior Caitlin Barney Weinheimer, of Ingram, Texas, has earned a spot on the 2011 Shotgun World Championship Team and the USA National Shooting Team in women’s trap at the 2010 USA Shooting Fall Selection Match.
Weinheimer will represent the United States in two of the four World Cups next year and at the 2011 World Shotgun Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. If she places in the top six shooters in these events, she will be competing for the U.S. at the 2012 Olympics in London.

Victoria (Tori) Burch, a Schreiner junior from Mountain Home, took 6th place in the Women’s International Trap competition in the Fall Selection Match. Both Weinheimer and Burch shoot for the Schreiner Shooting Sports Society, coached by Bill Thomas.
