Ses, Art2Heart to perform at Schreiner coffeehouse

Austin hip-hop musician Ses will be the headliner at the Texas Music Coffeehouse 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 2, in The Lion’s Den at the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center.  Rick LeMon and the Art2Heart Journey Band will be featured guest performers.

Ses self-released his first album, “Built from the Struggle,” with the help of two Austin music producers. His latest album, produced by Avenue Records, is “The Hand That Feeds” and is expected to be released sometime in early 2011.

The Art2Heart Journey Band plays for Art2Heart’s annual production of “Journey of the Silver Cord” in Kerrville. They will play jazz and blues for the coffeehouse.

The Texas Music Coffeehouse series is sponsored by Schreiner’s Center for Innovative Learning, Texas Heritage Music Foundation and Student Activities Board. For information about Schreiner and other CIL programs, visit the Web at www.schreiner.edu.
