Schreiner professor to talk about recovery, recession
Schreiner University visiting assistant professor of business Jay McCormack will be “Rapping the Economy” in a talk about the fragility of economic recovery, disappointing job growth and why the end of the most recent recession seems questionable in the minds of many. There also will be a chance for audience discussion. The event is part of Schreiner’s Chautauqua Lecture Series and will take place at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28, in the ballroom of the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center.
McCormack has an M.B.A from Southern Methodist University and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member. This past summer, he presented a paper to the 2011 American Colleges and Universities. His co-presenter was Dr. Jim Spohrer, director of IBM’s Almaden Research Center in California.
