Chautauqua at Schreiner Examines the Secret Life of Poets

Schreiner University faculty poets, Sally Hannay and Silke Feltz will present: “The Secret Life of Some Poets” as part of the University’s Chautauqua series at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24, in the ballroom of the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center. Hannay is an assistant professor of English and Feltz is an instructor in English and German.

Their presentation will include poetry readings of their original work and Ethan Grothues, a Schreiner sophomore from Kerrville, will present some of his creative work. The audience will be able to participate in a creative writing exercise and discussion of the creative writing process.
