SU faculty to present Florentine travelogue
Schreiner University professors will present a travelogue of Florence, Italy, 5-6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21, at the University’s Schreiner Mansion Historic Site and Education Center, 226 Earl Garrett St., in Kerrville. Dr. David Smith, professor of graphic design and dean of the Cailloux School of Professional Studies, and Deborah Wartko-Conner, instructor of visual arts, will show photos and talk about the trip taken this past summer. The event is free and open to the public. There will be a wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres.
SU in Florence, a study abroad trip to Italy, has become an annual event for Schreiner faculty and students. It is a collaboration between the University and Santa Reparata International School of Art. The program recently added business courses and is planning to add Italian language classes.
