Photojournalist PF Bentley to speak at Schreiner
 
Photojournalist and documentary filmmaker PF Bentley will speak at Schreiner University at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, in the second-floor ballroom of the University’s Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Bentley is a former TIME magazine photographer five-time Picture of the Year winner who has covered every American presidential campaign since 1980. He will speak on “Behind the Scenes in American Politics,” a look at the stories behind some the most compelling photos of the past 20 years. Bentley was one of the earliest professional photojournalists to switch from film to digital and in 2005 Career Education Corporation named Educator of the Year for his lecturing ability and for inspiring students at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Calif. will show some of his own work, along with the work of current White House photographer Pete Souza, Callie Shell from TIME and Stephen Crowley of the New York Times.
