Schreiner Texas Music Coffeehouse to feature Andy Barham and special guest

Andy BarhamThe Texas Music Coffeehouse at Schreiner University will present Andy Barham at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the Lion’s Den located on the first floor of the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the University campus.

Barham is a 2002 graduate of Schreiner. The Austin Chronicle recently described his music as “both familiar and unique, echoes Willie Nelson and Paul Simon. Opening for Barham will be special guest, songwriter Bill Reid from Horseshoe Bay, Texas, who describes his music as “Blues, Folk, Kids, Country, Originals & Covers and Some for Longhairs” on his website at www.fewersorrowsmusic.com.

The Texas Music Coffeehouse series free and open to the public. It is co-sponsored by Schreiner’s Center for Innovative Studies, the Texas Heritage Music Foundation and the Schreiner Student Activities Board.  For information about Schreiner and other CIL programs, visit the Web at www.schreiner.edu.
