Sue Steele Joins Schreiner’s Advancement Team
Sue Steele, former senior marketing officer for Bank of the Hills, has joined the Department of Advancement and Public Affairs at Schreiner University as Regional Development Officer.
“Sue Steele has deep Schreiner roots,” said Karen Kilgore, Director of Development and Planned Giving Advisor. “The daughter of an alumnus, she is also the spouse of a former student and former trustee. She brings to her new role both enormous wisdom about our constituents and exquisite people skills. All of us are very pleased to have Sue on the team.”
Steele is a well-known local volunteer and has served on the boards of the Dietert Center, Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, Kerr County Women’s Chamber, Hill Country Cares, United Way, Executive Women’s Club and Peterson Home Health. She and husband Jack enjoy spending time on their ranch with daughters Meredith Brewer and Lauren Gant, and with their three “grands,” Paige, Jack and Mary Steele.
“I’m delighted to be a part of the Schreiner community,” said Steele, whose family has lived in Kerr County for five generations. “After 10 years at the bank, I was ready for a change and I’m looking forward to new challenges.”
