Schreiner to Honor Longtime Director of Nursing
Rosemary Pullin, Schreiner University’s director of vocational nursing, is being honored with a retirement reception Friday, Aug. 3 from 3-6p.m. in the grand hall of William Logan Library on the campus. The public is invited to the reception.
Pullin, who also served as an instructor of vocational nursing, has been a part of the Schreiner family for 25 years.
“Schreiner University has been incredibly fortunate to have Rosemary Pullin on our staff for these many years,” said Diana Comuzzie, dean of the Trull School of Sciences and Mathematics. “Our outstanding reputation in the local health care community, and at the state level, is largely due to her integrity, compassion and gentleness, and to the many, many times she has asked a student, ‘…and what else?’ as they thought through a treatment plan or diagnosis. We will miss her greatly, but wish her well in her retirement.”
