Monday Night Fiction presents "The Beginner's Goodbye"

Monday Night Fiction: "The Beginner's Goodbye"

The Monday Night Fiction series at Schreiner University will continue with a discussion of “The Beginner’s Goodbye,” by Anne Tyler at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at the Schreiner Recliner in the Floyd and Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the Schreiner campus. Sally Hannay, associate professor of English, will moderate the event.

Ann Tyler presents a haunting and wise new novel in which she explores how a middle-aged man, struggling with his wife’s death, is restored by her frequent appearances in their home, the market and roadway.

Monday Night Fiction is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by Schreiner’s Center for Innovative Learning. For more information about this or any other Schreiner University humanities event, contact Martha York at 830-792-7352.
