Schreiner Former Students Annual Shrimp Boil October 20

The Schreiner Former Students Association will host its 5th annual Shrimp Boil and Dance featuring the John D. Hale Band Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Robbins Lewis Pavilion on the SU campus.

Food will be served at 6 p.m. and the band will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is $7. Food and drinks including wine and beer will be sold separately. All proceeds from the event will go into an endowed scholarship created by the former students association.

Blending together their favorite parts of country, Americana, southern rock, and even bluegrass, the John D. Hale Band have crafted their own edgy and raucous sound.

“We encourage all ages to come out and enjoy a great night of dancing, eating great food and reconnecting with friends and old classmates,” said Paul Camfield, Schreiner’s associate director of alumni relations.
