Schreiner freshman wins silver in International Trap Competition

Schreiner University freshman, Miranda Wilder, won the silver medal in the Junior Women’s Miranda WilderInternational Trap Competition, which was hosted at Hill Country Shooting Sports Center in Kerrville in early October.

This competition, USA Shooting Fall Selection Match, determined who would represent the US in the World Cup Matches in Acapulco, Mexico, and Dohar, UAE, in the spring. Wilder, having placed runner up, was awarded one of the spots in these two matches.

Wilder won a gold medal in the Pan American Games Women’s International Trap in Guadalajara, Mexico, last October. She also has numerous state and national medals.
