Schreiner Student Achievement Showcase for Creativity, Research
Schreiner University is proud of its students and their work and wants everyone to see why at the 2012 Schreiner Student Achievement Showcase, Tuesday, April 24, in the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center.
Students have submitted original research, scholarship and creative accomplishments, internship experiences, study abroad adventures and other projects on which they are working. Presentations will include gallery shows, posters, panel presentations and theater and musical performances.
“The Student Achievement Showcase features the variety of student accomplishment at Schreiner: undergraduate research, scholarship and creative accomplishment,” said Charlie McCormick, Schreiner provost and vice president for academic affairs. “It is a day in which our academic community will not just teach students but will learn from students. We hope this is the first of an annual event showcasing the incredible ideas, arts and knowledge that Schreiner students are discovering and creating.”
