Schreiner Choir to entertain with dinner and music
The Schreiner University Choir will present a dinner theater performance “From Doo-Wop to the Age of Aquarius” at 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday, March 2 and 3, in Tucker Hall of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Kerrville. Kendra Delaney will accompany the choir on the piano.
Diners will enjoy finger food popular in the 1950s and ’60s—including, but not limited to meatballs, silver dollar burgers, deviled eggs, fondue, and root beer floats—while choir members entertain with Broadway and popular music from that era.
Tickets are $25 for the public and $20 for Schreiner faculty and students, and are available by emailing or calling Michael Kahl, assistant professor of music and the choir’s director at mgkahl@schreiner.edu or 830-792-7417. All proceeds will go towards financing the choir’s trip to Ireland in May.
