SU Theater troupe to perform Neil Simon’s ‘Brighton Beach Memoirs’

The Schreiner University Theater troupe will perform Neil Simon’s “Brighton Beach Memoirs” at 7:30 p.m. April 19 and 20, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 21 in the Hanszen Fine Arts Theatre.

Admission to the production is free to Schreiner students and $2 for adults and other patrons.
“Brighton Beach Memoirs” is considered Simon’s most widely respected plays and combines humor with a level of drama.

The play centers on Eugene Jerome, a young writer who is coping with the mundane existence of his life in Brooklyn.
